Harvest Moon
Every year I take myself down to the ocean at sunset to see the majestic rise of the Harvest Moon. It breaks the horizon line of the sea in stunning silence. Its sheer size makes it seem alive as it rises up with its vibrant orange light dancing across the ocean surface. Truly an inspiration. However, this year, clouds kept the silent beauty under wraps. For a moment, I was let down. I stood quietly on the rocks with my mother, Mary, and watched my lovely Minerva and her daughter Skylar skipping away on the jetty from rock to rock, the inlet on one side, the ocean on the other.

That's when it struck me - they are my harvest moon and I'm lucky to have such beauty in my life, each and every day. Truly an inspiration.
