Mayonnaise.

A sandwich without it is sort of barren - dry, and not at all smooth. Once on a sandwich, or mixed up with tuna or chicken, mayonnaise takes a step back, but still manages to bring out all of the flavors of whatever it's dressing up.

The odd thing (for me, at least) is that mayonnaise, and all of it's taste enhancing characteristics, is not at all good by itself.
How is that possible?

Now that iPhones and iPads are everywhere, Flash-based sites are becoming less common for the simple reason that Flash content does not play on either of those devices. Granted, not everyone has an iPhone or an iPad, but why would you want to eliminate a large chunk of mobile users by using Flash? Something to consider for all those looking to put out a web banner ad!

Two years ago, the slide shows in this month's featured site - Lettieri Construction would have been done in Flash. To achieve the smooth image transitions, I used a wonderful scripting language called jQuery (click here for details). It's really a great tool-set for any web designer and it plays well across all platforms!
